CoursesCourses are held throughout the year in Bristol and in conjunction with our sister club in London.
Summer School is the main course of the year covering all aspects of combat karate including; grappling, weaponry, close quarter combat and fitness. The weekend culminates with the traditional black belt gradings. DKK also holds an annual 2 day Winter Camp in Epping Forest, London Recent and upcoming DKK Courses are listed below. 15th March 2014Sensei Lewis taugh a joint seminar with Iain Abernethy (6th Dan British Combat Association).
The seminar will consisted of 6 X 50 minute sessions and covered arm-control and grappling drills from Kushanku / Kanku-Dai, Sanchin and the Chinese influence, Kake (pushing and sticky hands), karate takedowns, power training, and developing a knockout hook punch. |
