DKK Fitness is a combat based intensive work out which will have you feeling energised and enthused for the rest of the day. You do not need to be a martial artist to take part but should you wish to train with DKK further you would be more than welcome to come along to a karate class. You will be encouraged and supported throughout the session and you will quickly see an improvement in your fitness, strength and technique..

The session begins with a thorough warm up and progresses to bodyweight exercises, pad drills, bag work, medicine balls, kettle bells, strength rope drills and ends with a warm down and stretch.

Both men and women are welcome and no previous experience of martial arts is needed

Regular physical activity that is performed for 30 minutes daily can:
  • Decrease the risk of coronary heart disease & reduce blood pressure
  • Decrease the risk of type 2 diabetes
  • Promote psychological well being
  • Help control weight
  • Help build and maintain healthy bones, muscles and joints
